Pours a clear golden-orange color with an inch thick, fluffy off-white head that slowly receded and left some rings of lacing. Aroma of floral, resinous hops with some light hints of soft citrus (orange, tangerine) complimented with a touch of faint caramel. A lightly sweet entry quickly gives way to a crisp, dry floral hoppiness that presents some light, spicy pine notes that are paired with some soft citrus notes that linger into the moderately dry finish. Moderate carbonation and crisp bite on the palate. Overall, a simple, enjoyable pale ale that is probably better than the score I am giving it because I didn’t drink this bottle sooner. I will have to try to get a fresher bottle and re-rate.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 4, 2009 Bottle; poured a clear golden type color; not great lighting so not really sure. Aroma was very bready and earthy, with some citrus and hops. Very northwestern hoppy for me in the nose. Flavor was very earthy and fairly bitter for the style. In all honesty, the flavor featured was one I really didn’t dig. Not too good for me. danielcurtis81 (905), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 22, 2009 Served from a 12 oz bottle courtesy of Craig. Pour a nice golden orange hue. The flavors and aromas are pale malts with a slightly above average hop bunch. The hop flavors are well balanced and not bitter. A solid pale ale. TampaBrew (825), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 15, 2009 Pours a deep yellow. Nose is pine and sweet malts. Some yeast. Flavor is a sharp pine resin bitterness, sweet smooth malts. Reminds me of pliny at times. Very good Pale. Insanely drinkable. This could be my go to pale ... to bad they aren’t in FL. I originally rated this as the IPA. From my notes, I didn’t think that there was any way this was just a Pale. Impressive. Itzjerm (70), Harvest, Alabama, USA

Some hops on initial drink, mellows alot, with malt coming through as well, nice balance, some pine, grass, pepper. Good one! iowaherkeye (1858), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 5, 2009 Thank you Floydster for the undated 12oz bottle. Clear golden with a one finger off-white head, good retention. Aroma has sweaty grapefruit rind Cascades up front with some light pale malt behind. The flavor is much the same, with a touch of pine coming through. The finish is semi-dry with bitterness around a 3 at the back corners of my tongue. Also, there was something slightly grassy at one point. Light body with light to moderate carbonation. Good enough APA with no flaws. beernbourbon (291), chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 8, 2009 Thanks to hophead22 for this rare treat! Pour is copper with a slight haze and a smallish white head. Aroma is earthy, pine hops, citrus hops, slight sulfur, and mild cookie malt. Flavor is subtle yet has some complexity. Flavor is true to nose except that hops are more floral early and citrus later on. Finish is cookie malt. Very light and drinkable pale ale. Hops are smooth and citrusy; this is easy drinkin’.
