Feb 26, 2004 Very smooth barleywine. Very malty sweet flavor and aroma. Didn't really detect much hops, were probably drowned out by the intense malt and alcohol.

Jul 27, 2001 The example I had was aged two years at the brewery, the oldest vintage they had. Extremely mellow and rounded, with lush, rolling, creamy flavors. English-style barleywine, and very strong. Great stuff.
