MiP (6723), Flensburg, Germany Apr 15, 2007 Bottle, 4.8%. Clear copper colour, small head. The flavour is subtle, a little rough. Average. Rastacouere (5421), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jun 10, 2007 Clear light brown pour, white, fading head. Strognly grainy nose with rough bready nuances, feeling rather dry, a feeling which is pushed further by the agressive carbonation. Attenuated toffee notes with a shy herbal finish. Rather rough-edged this one despite its global lightness. bierkoning (5131), La Tropica, Netherlands Aug 3, 2003 Copper brown color, off-white frothy head. Slight peacharoma. More fruit than hopbitterness in the flavor. Some metal. Rather skunky with a hint of sourness. Very mediocre altbier. faroeviking (4713), The Autonomous Beer Republic,, Faroe Islands Apr 4, 2007 Can. Amber brown colour. Malty corn aroma with some hops. Sweet malty grainy bit fruitish flavour. Pretty ok brew. jbrus (4350), Delft, Netherlands Mar 9, 2005 Bottled. Typical fruity and malty alt aroma but with the skunky hops you find in most German lagers. Light brown color, greyish head, good lace. Light sweet, medium bitter start to bitter finish an the bitterness gets nasty, no fruitiness, no maltiness, dry as it should be. Conclusion: under average alt.
