Bottle. Strong hops and malt aroma. Dark copper red with large tan head - a very pretty beer. Creamy full malt flavor with a touch of hops. Excellent alt.

<i<bought in Düsseldorf - clear copper-red colour with a little beige foam; the nose is nutty and spicy with notes of meat; clean palate with a smooth mouthfeel, gentle bitterness before a quite long earthy finish - not bad at all but a bit easy after drinking some Schumacher

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a small whie head. Mild roasted caramelish aroma. Breadish and caramel malt flavoured alongside a light bitterness nicely complimenting the malt flavours. Ends medium dry and bitter.

Clear amber with a large beige head. Aroma had had roasted malt, grains and caramel notes. Flavour had roasted malt and quite a few grassy hops. Finished bitter and dry.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear amber golden with an off-white head. Lightly roasted malt aroma. Medium body, roasted malt and a rather dry and hoppy finish. 030409

Bottled. Clear, golden with a small white head. Quite weak aroma with caramel and grain. Malty aroma, a bit on the grainy side, with a little fruityness. Decent body, malt and some hops in the finish. Quite decent beer. (070331)

Bottled. Typical fruity and malty alt aroma but with the skunky hops you find in most German lagers. Light brown color, greyish head, good lace. Light sweet, medium bitter start to bitter finish an the bitterness gets nasty, no fruitiness, no maltiness, dry as it should be. Conclusion: under average alt.

Bottle, 4.8%. Clear copper colour, small head. The flavour is subtle, a little rough. Average.
