| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 12, 2004 Looks cheap and tastes cheap. Pours a pale yellow with a thin white head that doesn't last. Aroma smells like corn and it tastes like corn. For $1.00 pint bottles, what the hell!! envane (251), Evanston, Illinois, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Feb 3, 2004 Ha ha. The best things going for it is the price - $6.50 for a six pack of pints. Better than the American swill going fot that price. Grainy, skunk taste - sweet. Not horrible, but not good. hershiser2 (914), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 2, 2004 Paid $1.19 for a pint bottle.
Unfiltered yellow with a tiny skin of a head. The particles look like little seamonkies swimming around.
Grass is the only scent here.
Taste isn't half bad. Actually, it's kinda nice, until you get to that metallic aftertaste.
A bit thin in the mouth.
This is a drinkable beer, but it's not really good, so I can't see myself wanting to ever drink it again. I'll finish my glass and be happy I tried yet another beer. dortmunder (961), Herdecke, Germany
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 30, 2004 Fairly decent Export. Expected worse. Balanced taste with some light floral hoppiness. Blander than its dortmund-made brothers, though. And more watery. But drinkable. jaymobrown (1360), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 22, 2003 Rye and grain nose. Smelled like a sofa cushion that a cat has used a little too often. Mostly dry rye flavors that thankful ends sharply, dryly and cleanly. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 21, 2003 From bottle. Dirty gold with a quickly disappearing thin white head. Lightstruck nose. Grainy, but thick and sweet. Long grainy, some sips are wet cardboard tasting, finish that leaves the sides of the mouth very dry. Suttree (2734), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 23, 2003 Dark Gold, white head. Grainy aroma. Full flavored with a fairly full palate and a dry, crisp finish. HighGravity (890), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Aug 11, 2003 This beer is very pale and highly carbonated. A thin whitehead stays atop this otherwise blandish beer. The first thing I noticed on the palate is the fact that this has been pasteurized. The palate is light spritzy and grassy. The finish is quick and uneventful. This beer must have been designed for mass-market appeal.
