Feb 11, 2003 Just to clarify my rating, I'm not CERTAIN that I'm rating the exact right beer, here. This one is definitely a Hansa from the same brewery, but has no markings that make it either the Pils or Export (both of which are pictured in a can) and it is in a bottle that reads 'Imported Dortmunder: HANSA Pure Quality' in the main label. As such this is clearly a pilsener, so I have considered it a bottled import version of this beer. As such, this beer is golden, crisp, with a white, thin head. Flavor is rather watery and thin, with only slight bitterness. This is definitely better than many other, cheaper pilseners, but is certainly anything but great.

Oct 19, 2002 Pretty ordinary really - the only thing that makes it a bit different from the average Euro lager/pils was that it wasn’t skunked at all. It’s drinkable - I’ve had worse.

Sep 29, 2002 Pale gold clear under a medium size medium lasting white head. Very faint cirtus and sappy hops aroma. Very light thin watery body. Medium bitter pils with a faint sweetish finish. One of zillions.

Aug 20, 2002 Slightly skunky aroma. Thin and very watery texture and flavor. Pale yellow color, thin non-existant head. Pretty forgettable beer.
