| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Oct 3, 2009 12.7oz corked & caged bottle from grape & gourmet. pours a nice, light burgandy with hints of pink and absolutely zero head. aroma was honestly nauseating with ridiculous funk, sweat sock, herring, wet hay, and a touch of red berry. flavor was not much of an improvement with unpleasantly tart notes of black currant, raspberry, and green apple with loads of red vinegar and brett funk. palate was light bodied and completely flat. overall, one of the worst "beers" i have ever tasted. my first ever drainpour after 328 ratings, wow, this was terrible. drewbeerme (2309), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 22, 2009 Pours reddish purple with no carbonation. Barnyardy brett aromas get you right in the thyroids with a little cassis in there. Flavor is straight up tart cassis. Overall a very excellent lambic but would be better with a little carbonation. beernbourbon (316), chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 12, 2009 Bottle. Pour is a brilliant hazy purple with no head and no evidence of carbonation. Aroma is lambic funk, wood, strawberry, and gym sock. Flavor is tart up front with loads of raspberry, cassis, and blackberry. The middle. The middle is more berries and the finish is a bit sour and a bit bitter with the lingering berry flavor. Leaves the mouth dry and wanting more liquid. Very dominant flavor.
