The aroma has notes of acetone, raspberries, nuts, vinegar, brettanomyces, and horse blanket. The flavor has sweet notes of raspberries in the mouth, while the acidity first hits in the throat, also with notes of vinegar, leading to a tart fruity finish. The mouthfeel is flat. Huge thanks to KimJohansen for sharing. Papsoe (15107), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Extremely brutal bier, even though not that "complex".’kin hell, Warning: this beer will ruin your palate for the rest of the evening. Good thing this was the last beer at Fonefan for this visit. joergen (8635), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Aroma had acetone, sour and very fresh raspberries, barnyard and woody notes. Flavour had loads of acetone/lacto, barnyard, wood and a ton of fresh raspberries, Finished very sour and it burned all the way down. Love it! MesandSim (5955), London, Greater London, England
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 6, 2009 A Mes rate. Barrel at the Weekend of Tarts. A very clean candy apple red colour with a faint brown hue. A simply amazing colour. Extremely fruity on the nose. Almost medicinal and quite astringent. Possibly a little over the top for me. The flavour is much better. Tart and fruity as hell. VERY acidic, close to undrinkable but my God it’s good. Massively tart and sour. No juice, just acidic dry madness. Full on red wine vinegar. Certainly too much for some. I loved it.
