Holy @#!%! the pop of the cork could have killed someone. More explosive than champagne. Smells like "Real Lemon" that lemon in a bottle stuff. There’s also a touch of horse barn to it. Honey hiding under the lemony aroma. The appearance is much like a liquid caramel that’s been injected with CO2. It has a thick bubbly head that rapidly goes down to a thin staying head. The body is opaque. The flavor is sour, apple, barnyardy, clover honey, raw grains. Lots of lemon. The palate is acidic, tart, and super carbonated.

As strongbad would say "the cork a-splode" None of us read the comments and were prepared but jesus. Ugly fizzy head like soda. Pale yellow and hazy. Very lemony (real lemon). Maybe some lime in the scent. Tastes like carbonated and slightly watered down lemon juice. Highly carbonated. Foams up in your mouth like warm soda if you swallow it quickly. Finish is tart and sour.

holy shiat opened the cork restrainer and it blasted the cork on its own accross the room nearly making me shit myself. Thanks to blake for bringing it over. A cloudy golden color w/ a big white fluffy head. Scent is very tart (lambicish w/ out as much barn). hints of bandaids in the nose and some other odd floralness reminiscent of a malt liquor. Palate is highly highly tart very carbonated. Flavor is a very very tart made me pucker up. This beer was exciting as it shot the cap w/ violent force but disapointed after that.

Who would guess Gueuze and mead would make such great lovers. Tart and honeyed with a great depth of flavors. Like spice lemon cookies with a touch of honey. Just awesome stuff.

Pours a perfect deep golden colour, with a huge frothy, rocky white head. Mix of honey and bandaid nose. This is quite delicious I must say. Palate starts with a hint of fruity sweetness. It turns quite sour, with barnyard, dry, apple, herbal, bitterish notes through the finish. Alcohol makes itself evident with some heat in the finish. Very different, but I feel this one works. I had this mostly warm, it may be good chilled as well.

Pours a hazy golden with a huge white head. Aroma has much of the funkiness of a typical gueuze, with less of an edge. I had thought that this would be an intriguing combination - that maybe the two would complement the others good qualities. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the exact opposite, as to me, the qualities that make the two styles unique and appealing were completely dulled when they are combined. The cork popped like it was shot from a cannon and unfortunately that was the highlight of this brew for me.

Clear golden in color with a huge fizzy head, the aroma is pretty much that of a tart gueuze along with the usual barnyard scents. This is extremely fizzy and light in the mouth, as though it wants to dance out my nose. The taste is quite sour with slight hints of lemon citric. The presence of the mead finally makes itself known with a dab of sweetness and the vinuous alcohol presence. It finishes on a sour, alcohol note. Interesting drink.

Clear light gold, highly effervescent. Large white head. Big funky aroma, decent grainy notes too. Some subtle honey tones come through as it warms. Sweet start, with honey and waxy notes, followed by huge citric tart finish. Light and refreshing mouthfeel. Nice interesting beer. Warming feeling present too which I have found with many meads or fruit wines.
