Tons of sweet honey meadyness, but a good dose of citrusy woody, earthy, horse blankety tartness on the nose. Palate is unique with a ton of honey and earthy horse blanket type earthiness. Almost like a nice earthy french sticky like sauternes. Very nice and unique. The palate exudes mead, but the nose is very meady. Magicdave6 (5558), London, Greater London, England

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 11, 2008 Cloudy straw colored pour with no head. Slightly funky, earthy and minty nose. Thin, light mouthfeel, very little carbonation. Tart, lemon-like flavor. Slightly sweet finish from the mead I assume. RollinHard (763), Fort Worth, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 6, 2008 Looks flat when it pours, dirty gold to orange. Aroma offers a hint of mint, some hay, a mustardy sourness, honey and white zinfandel. Flavor of chardonnay and white zinfandel as well, some vinegar, tannic woodiness. Finishes a little hot and dry with a mild woody aftertaste. Decent as an experiment, but the mead and gueuze tendancies, when viewed separately, come off as unrefined. mar (1972), Dallas, Texas, USA
