Jan 27, 2008 Bottle, cgarvieuk coolbeans party. Thanks to Magic Tom. Mellow gold, thin white head that dies quickly. Honey and gueuze, light, amaretto. Mouth is gueuze, below which is the honey, sweetness, kinda disjointed. Unusual, well worth trying.

Jan 23, 2008 Much thanks to Stlwill for sharing. Tons of sweet honey meadyness, but a good dose of citrusy woody, earthy, horse blankety tartness on the nose. Palate is unique with a ton of honey and earthy horse blanket type earthiness. Almost like a nice earthy french sticky like sauternes. Very nice and unique. The palate exudes mead, but the nose is very meady.

Jan 23, 2008 Bottle massive thanks to ang as the shack of part shack jig. Aroma is amazing hanssens gueuze completly bastardised by a rubbish floral mead. Taste is far more mead anmd grainy sugary almond sweetness with white grape dry gueuze character, An amazinmg gueuze ruined by a rubbish sweetner.

Jan 11, 2008 Cloudy straw colored pour with no head. Slightly funky, earthy and minty nose. Thin, light mouthfeel, very little carbonation. Tart, lemon-like flavor. Slightly sweet finish from the mead I assume.

Jan 6, 2008 Looks flat when it pours, dirty gold to orange. Aroma offers a hint of mint, some hay, a mustardy sourness, honey and white zinfandel. Flavor of chardonnay and white zinfandel as well, some vinegar, tannic woodiness. Finishes a little hot and dry with a mild woody aftertaste. Decent as an experiment, but the mead and gueuze tendancies, when viewed separately, come off as unrefined.

Dec 9, 2007 Bottle. Pours a golden orange color with a large fizzy head. Has a sour tasrt barnyard aroma with some weak hints of honey. Tart fruity flavor with hints of alcohol and honey. Tasrt dry fruity finish with some warming hints, also hints of mead in the aftertaste.
