Nov 21, 2008 Bottle, pours deep gold with no head. No carbonation, looks like a wine. Very light aroma of hay, earth, and light strawberries. Flavor is tangy sour with only a hint of strawberry in the finish. Not bad, it went well with our salmon.

Oct 22, 2008 Pours dead flat. Horseblanket aroma with hints of wild strawberry shining through. Medium tart light strawberry flavor with a fairly strong funky aftertaste.

Oct 6, 2008 pours a clear yellow with pale head, sudden sour aroma, very impactful palate, but a pleasant experience. Good thourough drink, lighlty complex, definitly a contrast to somthing plain. I very much enjoyed this.

Sep 27, 2008 375 ml bottle. Foggy orange body with a thin head. Aroma is sour fruity and a bit like old urine. Flavor is sour, rotten fruit and a bit sewer impression. Not as bad as it sounds like, but rather funky and unusual.

Sep 20, 2008 Bottle. Hazy amber with a minimal head. Nice lemony lambiek aroma with hints of cheese. Sharp lemony flavours, some wood and mellow fruit, probably from the strawberries, the latter more towards the finish. Soft. The best strawberry beer around, I am sure.

Clear light amber orange color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy sour, acidic, strawberry, sweet, oak - wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, and a dry finish. Very refreshing. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. (040708)

Aug 21, 2008 Bottle, from State Line Liquors (Elkton, MD). Pours orange-amber, with minimal carbonation and a thin off-white head. Very tart and oaky aroma, with mild strawberry contributing some balancing sweetness. Flavor is very tart, highlighting the lactic acid and wood, again with only mild strawberry. Dry, tart, nearly mouth-puckering finish. When it comes to sour ales, I’m a glutton for punishment, and this delivers.
