A very nice lambic. Colur was a surprise I expected somethin red. So it was orange-yellow. Cloudy and also flat carbonation. Very nice carbonation. Round strawberry taste. Bottled in a 0.375 l bottle.

Bottle. Pours straw yellow with a light orange head. Think lacing. A nice sour lambik and a mellow strawberry body creeping into the finish. 3.3 Bottle shared by BrianK. Wow has this ever improved with age. Pours an orange golden body with a thin pale lacing. Sour woody lactic acid. Dam good with five years on it. Honey citrus and some tart citric acids. Strawberry hints. Great. 4.2

Bottle picked up from Dranken Geers back in March, had this 11-05-08 Pours orangey, no head, cloudy served slightly chilled. The aroma is slightly sour and farmyard but with some gentle strawberryness sat in the background. The taste is more strawberry than I anticipated but with a lovely sourness that just underpins thing beautifully. This could just about be one of my perfect summer sips, here I am sat in my garden with house martins and swallows screeching and darting overhead, the odd cabbage white butterfly fluttering past and the lilting hum of traffic on the M40 carried on an early summer breeze ahh bliss. I think this would be difficult to improve on although just once or twice I felt that maybe a little carbonation might have made this even more interesting, but regardless it was a truly lovely beer.

Bottle. No idea how old this one is. I have had it for a long time, since NC law changed over in 2004 I think. So it is at least 3 years old. Pours out a golden color without much of a head at all. Smell has some hints of strawberries, faintly, some wood smells, a little bit of mustiness. The taste was ntohing like I was expecting. I was expecting something with some strawberry flavors, but I think the beer is old enough that I was left with a Guezue with a nice little strawberry aftertaste which wasnt really noticeable. That said, this was really good - if not what it was originally designed to be! Very sour, very smooth, and easy to drink. Good stuff!

Clear amber with no head. Big barnyard and citrusy strawberry soda smell. Medium body and barely carbonated. Nice sweet and sour, but mostly sour taste with lemon, strawberry, wood, and earthy funk. Not too bad considering it was nearly flat.

Another one that is vastly underappreciated in my opinion. It has that funky wet blanket, hung up in the barn kind of nose. A bit of sourness, melded with rich layers of fruity acidity that tingles the tongue. Finishes slightly bitter and sour, but lacks a little complexity in the tail.

The color was coudy orange/yellow. There was no head. The aroma was sour and bandaides. The flavor was tart, yeast, and bandaides. The palate was thin. The finish was long-lasting and sour.

Pours a thin hazy bright golden yellow. Not too much carbonation and as a result not too much head. The nose is sour, acidic, a tad sweet, vinous. The flavor is sort of a mess. There is definitely some strawberry there, but not very good. There is some light sweetness, a bit watery, light acidic bite. The palate feels thin, incomplete, lacks carbonation. Lightly sour. Finishes a little sour, starts warming up and leaves a residual old strawberry flavor.
