Pours orange with a warm ruby hue and no head. Fruity strawberry aroma, acidic and sour. Flavor wasn’t as acidic and sour as the aroma let on. Not very sour in the finish, still has a good acidic character. Got that good lambic earthy funk to it. Good blend of strawberry without going overboard.

Tried at Stone’s 1st annual sour beer tasting. I like sour beers, and my friends seemed to like this, but I’m going to have to rate differently. Yes, I smelled some strawberry mixed with barf, maybe a little bit of aged socks. OK, I wrote it. Enough with the smell, on to the taste. Taste is smooth, not too sour. Couldy yellow color. No head.

Bottle. "Limited Edition Year 2000." Very sour nose. Not a hint of strawberries. Lots of barnyard, hay, straw and horse blanket. An odd mix of smoke, peat and salt as well. Pours flat and oily. No head. Oddly earthy and peaty on the palate. Minerals and gravel. Again, no strawberries. Loads and loads of oily funk. This beer truly stinks.. in a good way of course.

Hmmm, looks like some people didn’t know what they were getting and promptly bash a fairly nice beer. Pours lightly hazy orange with minimal sized head. The aroma is sour, vinegary, sharp and tart. There is also light fruit and bits of wild yeast. Medium crisp grainy body with very little carbonation. The flavor starts with husky sourness, very light fruit that makes this almost a gueuze, citric acid and earthy wild yeast. The finish is softer and mellower than most lambics. This is quite a nicely crafted lambic.

Its too sour for my taste, a slight whiff of strawberries. The taste is lactic sourness and hint of strawberry sweet. thin body

The aroma has strawberries, wild funk, and sourness. The appearance is cloudy copper gold with virtually no head. The flavor is like the aroma and not good. The palate is thin and flat. This is just not my thing and no amount of strawberries will save it.

Bottle (0.375l): Deep golden, small and stable lacing head; cellary, musty nose with a touch of "Brett"; solid sour flavour with some sweet illusions, light bodied; a taste of srawberries detectable in the heartburning-sourish finish. This is the real thing for purists......

37.5 cL. Pours a thickly cloudy orange with a few big bubbles on top, and since the mouthfeel is also flat I’d swear this came from a cask. Aroma is sour, fruity--lemons with strawberry notes--and only slightly musty. Those fruits are big in the flavor, which is quite tart. Again, lots of lemon and grapefruit with just tinges of strawberry. Maybe lacks some funkiness. Somewhat thick and flat mouthfeel, not acidic, not very dry either. Strawberry is more noticeable in the aftertaste. Reefreshing and pretty interesting.
