Pours a thickly cloudy orange with a few big bubbles on top, and since the mouthfeel is also flat I’d swear this came from a cask. Aroma is sour, fruity--lemons with strawberry notes--and only slightly musty. Those fruits are big in the flavor, which is quite tart. Again, lots of lemon and grapefruit with just tinges of strawberry. Maybe lacks some funkiness. Somewhat thick and flat mouthfeel, not acidic, not very dry either. Strawberry is more noticeable in the aftertaste. Reefreshing and pretty interesting. oberabcbbsok (686), Hoboken, Belgium

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 28, 2007 I really like this color. Crystal clear light orange color. Aroma of cooked strawberries, acidity, and just a little bit of lambic funk. Flavor is tart but nowhere near a Cantillon. Flavors of strawberries, citrus, must. This is cool, I wouldn’t mind some other blenders making strawberry lambics. Miguel (1181), Saint-Ours, Quebec, Canada

The strawberry comes out, it’s something special.Pinkish tinge. Appropriate carbonation. No head. Goes picnic lunch well. CapedBrewsader (260), Brasschaat, Belgium
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 14, 2007 37.5cl bottle: A clear summer sunset with yellow edges. Not even the faintest head and only a few medium sized bubbles to show that there is at least some carbonation. Wonderful aroma of strawberries interlaced with must, horseblanket, and stilton. There is a definite tart and almost citrus edge to the aroma.. perhaps rhubarb. Acid and vinegar hit you on the first sip but mellow after that. Ends up being a pretty mild example. At first there is a faint tart berry note but to me it seems like mixed berries rather than strawberry. Then green apples, orange rind, and grapefruit come in. Towards the end a definite strawberry flavor comes in. A metallic component and a little band-aid finish it off. Dry and tart finish.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 13, 2007 Bottle at Spuyten (requested by Jess). Unsure of its age, but the label doesn’t have strawberries on it. Poured an orange-pink color with a tinge of carbonation, not much head at all. Aroma of strawberries, sourness, and something I couldn’t put my finger on. Not quite traditional lambic funkiness, but more toward a peppery smell. Taste was mostly strawberry with only a hint of tartness. Definitely got more of the funkiness in the taste than in the aroma. Finish had an even stronger strawberry taste. Overall a nice beer, especially using an underrepresented fruit for lambics. fishingnet (1045), Brandon, Florida, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jun 11, 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear golden orange with no head and very little signs of carbonation. Aroma of fresh strawberries and a touch of acidity and funk. Taste is super tart and full of lemon and grapefruit with a hint of strawberries at the end. Thin mouthfeel with a fair amount of acidity. A very underrated Lambic.
