Smells like strawberries and a little lambic funk. The strawberries really come through in the taste too. Perfect mix of sweetness and tartness. Underrated. rayg1 (445), Ft. Mill, South Carolina, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 10, 2007 This beer pours out a hazy golden color with a hint of red in it and lots of carbonation, more than I’ve seen with lambic. Aroma is nice and tart to begin with then melts into a soft sweetness of the strawberries and really makes for a nice aroma. Taste is your typical sourness and kinda funky as to be expected but it isn’t out of control. The fruit is somewhat present in the flavor but mostly just to smooth things out because the flavor is still very sour. I liked this lambic more than others I’ve had. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 8, 2007 Pours a hazy golden color with no head. Strawberries are very present in the aroma with some funky tartness underneath. Nice balanced smell. Taste is fruity with the strawberries with the normal lambic taste underneath. Sour, horsey, funky but pretty mild. This would be a really good lambic to start somebody off who has never had one before. The balance between the tartness and fruit is well done without either being overpowering. reakt (938), Greater London, England

Bright orange amber with no head - despite our barman’s best efforts. He got so flustered that no head formed, he poured a whole other bottle to make sure nothing was wrong. Anyway. Perfumey strawberry nose - very light, smells like dessert. A good swirl brings out the sourness. Uber tart taste of vinegar, strawberry and lemon. Really good, but that little bit too sour. hopdog (5630), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured a medium and hazy golden color with a very small, if any, head. Aromas of earthiness, sweaty, fruity, and berries. Tastes were sour and tart; green apples, lemons, and finishing with strawberries. Sour and tart finish. redlight (1509), Winter Park, Florida, USA

Pours out light pink, with a thick white head. Sour, lactic yeast upfront, with really good srtong wild strawberry flavor. Favorite of the night! skibumphishead (180), USA

The simple sour flavor works great with the strawberry. The finish is dry and fruity. This was a very unique and memorable lambic. I hope that I can find another bottle of it some time soon. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 7, 2007 Strawberries were great and they created a great start to the taste of this beer. Then as it developed the sourness was definitely present. I respect and can dig that. But even so, there was something offensive. It wasn’t the good kind of funk. Had it not had that funk, I would have rated this much higher
