Small to no head. Aroma is fruity and funky barnyard and must. Touch of berry. A medium bodied fruit lambic. LOTS of funk, must and barnyard flavors are sort of balanced by a sweet berry fruitiness. Little to no carbonation. Lots of fruitiness, lots of funk and they sort of don’t mix to well. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is tart. joergen (8638), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Nov 4, 2005 Bottle. 2000 Vintage (says limited edition, but aren’t all beers). Copper colored with no head. Light fruitiness (berry) and tart aroma with some dustiness - at least it starts out ok. Some strawberry flavor then a harsh tart/vomit/chemical flavor. Just not drinkable. It has a mouthfeel showing some chucnkiness. My guess is a bad bottle, and wow was this one bad. pivo (2537), Germany
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 29, 2005 This is probably a beer you either love or hate. I tended to like it. Chalky, berry nose though not overwhelmingly fruity. Gold color with no head. Sweet juice-like tastes give way to a powerful sting of tartness in the back of the throat. It’s like someone is reaching into my stomach and pulling bile up my throat. Very unusual effect. Maybe that’s why I like this. Interesting, sour and unbalanced, really, but in a controlled unbalanced. The brewer’s intent is clear, I think, and overall this works. YogiBeera (2437), Hamburg, Germany
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 23, 2005 Deep orange color, no head. Bubblegum strawberry nose - also a very intense strawberry taste, sour like berry vinegar. Very odd - the strawberry taste wasn+t off my likeing as it tasted like molded strawberries. Dry and chalky finish. harrisoni (6947), Ashford, Kent, England

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/20 | Sep 8, 2005 very pungent nose, tad bit sour and earthy. a pinkish gold appearance with a head roughly the same thickness as a peice of paper. flavor much like the nose, tart, sour, earthy, but little to no strawberry anywhere to be found, save the faintest (though enjoyable) finish on the back of the tongue. hammenlind (738), Sundbyberg, Sweden
