2000 vintage, 375 ml. bottle- Pours with a small white head that drops off quickly leaving little to no lacing. Wild nose! Sour, fruity-strawberrys, apples along with notes of bubblegum and yeast. Faint mustiness, barnyardy, lots going on in the aroma dept.. Light/ medium body. Unfortunately the co2 level is seriously low as this beer could use a bit more tingle on the tongue. Strawberry flavors are surprisingly fresh and up front, fruity, peachy, musty and a bit juicy, mouthwatering. Medium sourness, medium acidity, nicely tangy. Finish is dry and fruity. Nice little beer!

Bottle at Chris’ house. Apparent aroma if strawberry. Flavour is strawberry and fairly sweet yet fairly acidic. Barely sour, very fruity and thick. Nice balanced lambic, well done Hanssens.

Bottled at The London/Joet Gathering Chez Chris_O. A hazy peachy coloured beer with an aroma which is full of strawberries from a distance but then closer to the nose is sour and any specific fruits are indistinguishable. The taste is rasping and snappy. Both strawberries and apples seem to come through.

The Kilburn Gathering. Strawberry wafts from a distance - barnyard and acid up close. Dry. Straw. Acid. Barnyard. Interesting.

(Bottled, 0.375l) Dark orange/amber color with almost no head. Very sour, maybe slightly fruity aroma. Very sour, acidic, fruity flavor. Medium-bodied, sour and low-carbonated palate. Still too sour for me, can’t really distinguish any flavors.

Pours a clear copper color with no head at all. Aroma is of strawberry with some tart sourness, and lemons. Flavor is unique. Fruity, with a mold-like sharpness all the way through, finishing very very dry.

Bottle 375ml, limited edition 2000 sampled 1/23/05: Bright golden amber color with a tiny off-white head. Light bodied, medium carbonatin with a lively mouthfeel. Aroma: Strawberries, barnyard, cowbwebs, dust, sour yeast. Taste: Very sour upfront, then notes of wheat, pepper, acidic fruit, efferescence, strawberry, honey, peach, barnyard, leather, horseblanket. Finishes acidic, dry, sucking the moisture out of your mouth, with notes of strawberry, cheese, and sour wheat.

Bottled in 2000. Beautiful tawny-orange colour with an almost still appearance. Bright aroma of strawberry, light dustiness, and a hint of barnyard funkiness. Aroma is quite tart, citric and ascorbic acids. Flavour is very sour, strawberry up front, acidic middle leading into a slightly sweetish finish. Maybe a touch of effervescence on the palate. Strangely, some sips seem quite sweet, others are intensely sour. An intriguing beer. Complex and tasty. Thanks cheesecloth.
