I appreciated the smell and all, but the taste was just wayyy to sour. Most likely not the best Lambic to start with, but still...not so good for drinking. ekstedt (2425), Göteborg, Sweden

Intriguing aroma with cider-like base of green apples, but some earthy notes of leather and gunpowder. The flavour is too sour, in a harsh way. Hopefully this bottle will age well in my cellar. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 5, 2007 Bottle. Lown and astonishingly lasting white head. Hazy golden body. Medium acidic grape fruit aroma. Acidic grape fruit flavor, agressive taste without being too much. Long lasting nice and bitter aftertaste. drpimento (824), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA

I do get some heavy duty sourness. color was nice. aroma was typical gueze but accented by malt/cider vinegar. couldn’t finish mine, but others who were trying it seemed to really enjoy it and even were reordering it! Had it from a small bottle at Bodega Brew Pub downtown La Crosse tbookman (618), Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Mar 2, 2007 Medium/dark gold color - very cloudy with a thin off-white head. Aroma of old vinegar, rotten apples and barnyard hay. Taste is puckering sour - hard to get past that to the other flavors, though there is a tinge of sweet fruits and some oak at the end. But it mostly just gets lost to me in that rancid acidity. bdb2 (1), Houston, Texas, USA does not count | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Mar 1, 2007 I love the balance of this beer. It perfectly balances the flavors of the wild yeasts with the base beer. probstk (1034), Nepean, Ontario, Canada

App.: deep straw, clear, full white head.
Aroma: Pungent! Horse blanket funk, spicy and green, sour mustard greens and rhubarb or cherry maybe, phenolic - acetone, magic marker kinda and a light cheesiness.
Palate: medium-full body, light effervescent carbonation.
Flav.: bracing tartness, acetone and horse blanket, spicey, woody, bitter finish.
This is complicated stuff. I need some training to be able to describe and appreciate this type of product. I don’t even know how to rate it.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 17, 2007 Bottle, 37,5 cl. Hazy golden colour with a small white head. Funky lambic aroma. Flavour is all the sour fruits you can think of, grape fruit, rhubarb, lemon, unripe apples and so on. A bit too acidic.
