Commercial Description:
This is the result of blending black cherries lambic of different ages followed by a second fermentation in the bottle. Storage is similar like geuze. All bottles are champagne corked and can be reserved, in normal conditions, for more than thirty years. It is obvious that an amazing taste evolution takes place.

Cloudy red with fast dissapering pink head. Stron acidic aroma of wood, leather, barn yard, horseblanket and lost of sour cheeries. Flavour is very sour and finish is long and sour. You really feel clean and refreshed after this.

Huge funk tart aroma, barnyard, old socks, brett and lacto absolutely dominating here, taste is monsterous barnyard, tartness, some cheese, hard to distinguish that this tartness and sourness is actually cherry, pretty amazing stuff. There’s no way 10 years ago I would have taken more then a sip of this, probaly would have said it tastes like baby vomit, now its a joy to sip on

Deep unclear brown red with a thick off-white head. Aroma of wood, blood, fruit, meat stock, vinilyc glue and a bit cheesy. Not as sour as other kriek I had, quite sweet at first, with a decent sourness on a medium dry end.

Bottle @ Spuyten Duyvil, split with puzzl. Pours red with little to no head. Huge funky aroma; smells wonderfully sour. It’s no joke when you take this baby to your lips. Big-time sour cherry kick. Not much happening on the palate, just your standard acidity. Has a bit of a sweeter finish. Great way to end the night.

De Zolder, Brugge, New Year’s Eve. Served with another sourness warning. Bring it on. Head collapsing into a still pinkish blush. A tickle of carbonation. Huge wood and sourness on the nose. Sherbety tang biting with lemon juice tartness. Very much a traditional, lambic-heavy Kriek. With something that looks like a pip swilling in it. Wicked. And just the tonic that’s required to reawaken the taste buds in the middle of a 7 hour Belgian session.

Pours orange amber with a fully receding off-white head. Aroma of sour cherry, barnyard, and some serious brett. Taste is brett, barnyard, sour, acidic with cherries and oak. Mouthfeel is quite sour and acid, light bodied with low carbonation.

Light red/rose w/ thin white head (when forced), clear
Intense sour/barnyard aroma with lots of cherries. Makes me salivate
Sour start and acidic throughout. Nice cherry character. dry finish
Lt body, med-hi carb
Nice cherry presence. This lambic is pretty powerfully sour - a sipper!
