pour a deep ruby red with a little pink head. Not much depth in the flavour though, i can detect some cherry in there, but the sourness is quite overpowering. The sourness is definetly taking away from the cherries. JoeinUccle (911), Brussels, Belgium

Not the case here! You’ve got the musk, sourness and citric acidity you’d expect, mellowed by blending, but with cherries powerful enough to balance into a drink that can refresh as well as be contemplated. Enjoyed the hell out of this. Theis (3759), Denmark

Pours an amazing rosé champagne-like color with a diminishing white head and a cuveé like effervescence. The color shows a very unique velvet appareance. Aroma is a mix between red fruit juice, some vinegar and a touch of sugar, slight horse saddle. Captivating. Taste is really nice, some fruits, vinegar, full salty in my palate. Refreshing. Sparkling mouthfeel and very refreshing. Some woody and vinous notes as it goes down.
This champagne I like!!! Hell It took me about and hour and a half to finnish detroiter (958), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA
| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 20/20 | Jan 15, 2007 Pours a clear ruby copper color, and even though it is quite effervescent, whatever very little white foam there is dies away immediately. Sharp tart funky aroma - nice!
Tart cherry and sour lemon flavor - very juicy. Barnyard funk is prominent throughout, and even more so in the lemony aftertaste. Light body, light carbonation. MIBRomeo (1965), Wisconsin, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 17, 2006 Bottle. Poured hazy reddish color with an average frothy reddish head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate complex sour cherry aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and lively carbonation. Medium sour cherry flavor with a medium sour finish of moderate duration. Sour refreshing brew. Svesse (2657), Hässelby, Sweden
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 4, 2006 (Bottle) Red colour with orange tinges and frothy, white, brief head. Hazy with sediment, clear without. Fruity, sourish nose with distinct cherry aromas, notes of red-currant and stable, a hint of smoke (or rather the aroma of freshly lit matches). Acidity drawing slightly in the vinegar direction. Musty and fresh at the same time. Fresh, sour taste with cherries and red-currant, a hint of raspberries as well. Very dry, but not harsh. Very fresh compared to most traditional krieks, but still with the dryness and acidity that is characteristic for the style. Brilliant!
