Great cherry flavour is well balanced bya near perfect level of sourness. I do enjoy my beers sour. Hunsell (400), Amsterdam, Netherlands

Smooth as can be, taste is sour, but not agressively sour, qualitybrew, especially after 7 (or more?) years. JadoreBlanche (114), London, Ontario, Canada

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 7, 2005 375ml. bottle. Light brownish red color with a small off white head. Metallic, sour aroma with just a hint of cherries.
Sweet initial flavor, turning sour quickly.
Very dry finish which is helped by the abundant carbonation. Nice! DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 26, 2005 Heazy brown-red body with minimal head. Pie cherry and caramel malt aroma. Intense sweet cherry flavor with sugar cookie, brown sugar and the requisite strong acidic lemon/silage tartness. I’d give the flavor a higher score but the sweetness and tartness seem too separated, not combining to form a unified flavor. macguy (146), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

I lke this beer quite well. The sourness explodes in your mouth. The cherry flavor is not as pronounced as in the Cantillion (my favorite kriek) but still quite nice. bu11zeye (5621), Frisco, Texas, USA
