Sourish flavor with berries. Lots of plastic and lemon. An aftertaste like it has come out of a jerrycan. Not a very outspoken fruit character. Disappointing. jbrus (4903), Delft, Netherlands

Sweetish, hint of sourness, strong leather, bitter, berries, marzipan. Flat mouth feel. Not bad, interesting, not really a lambic and I had to get used to it first. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 20, 2009 It poured a hazy red liquid with a very small reddish foam. It had a strong sweet and sour smell of gruits and berries. It tasted fruity and yeasty. But I couldn’t really feel the blueberries, tasted more like black currant and other red berries. It was also a bit watery and lacked some depth and roundness in the mouthfeel. Sorry to say that it didn’t live up to my expectations, not one of the better lambics I’ve had.
