Mar 18, 2008 Hapkin is a very nice golden clear color with a perfect head. I took my time enjoying this drink and even after 45 minutes, there was a nice creamy-white head atop my ale! The flavor is very smooth and creamy yet seems light going down. This Belgiam Strong Ale does a great job covering the 8.5% abv, I would not have believed it was more than 4.8% while enjoying.

Mar 15, 2008 (33 cl bottle) On Marxh 14, 2008. BB August 2008. Shady golden color, whit head. Sweet, malty, green apple scent. Sweet, alcohol, a bit spicy taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Mar 8, 2008 This blond beer makes me think of a less bitter variant of Duvel. Hapkin is a Belgian beer that I’ve discovered lately, and which I will drink a lot more in the future.
