Bottle. Straw coloured with a strong whit head. Aroma of sweet malt and hint of floral hops. Flavour also tended towards sweetness with an alcoholic kick at the end. A pale shadow of Duvel.

Appearance: golden color. Great head, white color, dense and persistent. Very fizzy. Aroma: soft malty, mainly resinous-hoppy and metallic touch. Spicy reminiscences like coriander. Dry-sour fruitiness like grapefruits. Flavor: sweet malty start; citric-fruity progress like orange and grapefruits; hoppy finish with soft to medium dryness, herby and coriander touches. Malty and dry-citric aftertaste. The sweet malts hidden the alcoholic power. Palate: medium body with silky texture. Medium carbonation. Refreshing and nice hoppy, however a not meaningful Belgian beer.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a medium, bubbly, white head. Ordinary and boring aroma and flavor of honey and yeast. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and soft carbonation.

A hazed golden translucent ale with a thick froathy white head. Aroma of wild herbs, coriander, and light sulfur. In mouth, a crisp hoppy belgian ale, with sustained bitterness, tingly mouthfeel, not a lot of residual sugar, herbaceous, and alcohol finale. Simple bodied. Bieropholie import, BB spet. 2007.

Bottle at Milk Factory, Vondel Park. Really nice sweet, and refreshing ale. Fruity with candy tastes. Quite textured. I was pleasanly surprised for a Maes beer such as this. Not sure why all the earlier focus on Duvel, there are so many Belgian beers, Duvel just one of very many.
