Bottle, 33 cl from 7-11 in Copenhagen. Pours orangey amber, with a medium and rapidly diminishing whitish head. Sweetish grainy aroma with notes of orange zest, herbs, alcohol and hint of spice. Flavor is mediciney, with a prominent alcohol bite, grainy malts, hint of brown sugar and citrus, overpowered by a metallic character. Medium to full body, and lightly prickly carbonation. Unbalanced, and not so good overall - maybe a half step up from brown bag malt liquor.

Bottle, 2009 vintage. It’s a clear, golden beer with a fingerthick, off-white head. Alcohol and malty sweetness dominates the aroma, and there’s some fruityness and some peppery hops to support it. The flavor is more or less the same. Alcohol and cloying malty sweetness dominates, and some fruityness and a little bitterness supports. Full-bodied, warming and sweet. Fruity, sweet finish with alcohol and a little bitterness. In small amounts, it’s sort of pleasant, but overall it’s way to warm and sweetish. (090412)

Botte, 2008. Pours an amber colour with a white head. Aroma is a bit flowery with notes of perfume and caramel. Flavour is sweet with notes of caramel, toffee and alcohol. I don’t know...I could not drink much of this (the sweetness is too cloying) but at the same time I really thought that it would turn out worse than it did...
