Ungstrup (11075), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 28, 2004 The aroma is very sweet with notes of caramel combined with some sourness from the hops, not very pleasant. The color is dark amber and it has an OK beige head. The flavor is malty, with notes of caramel, bad hops, and a very dry finish. omhper (10438), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 1, 2005 Updated: Sep 14, 2005Bottled. Brownish amber, average head. Very neutral. Sweet, lightly roasty and somewhat papery with some sharp metal. Primitive and tasteless. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 23, 2005 (Bottle 50) Beautiful amber colour, slightly hazy, almost no head. Malty with notes of caramel. Very light-bodied and a very subdued bitterness. This doesn’t even come close to a typical German Dunkel (although I suspect it’s been brewed at Harboe’s German enterprise in Dargun). Rather flat - as most beers in plastic. They really lose their carbonation way too fast. 240105 yespr (6259), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 7, 2007 DK RB rating #500. 50 cL can. Pours clear light brown with an off-white and quickly disappearing head. Sweet slight caramel aroma. Classic Harboe flavoured with a slight sweetness and caramel. Mild bitterness in the finish. joergen (6257), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 7, 2005 Golden colour with a small beige head. Aroma of corn and caramel with acidic notes. Malty taste with notes of caramel and an OK bitterness.
Nothing special.
