I still have yet to find a decent American wit. Pours very brown with a decent head. Tastes very sweet and very spicy. Too much coriander and wrong kind of orange peel in my opinion

Bottle from a brewery rep. The beer pours to a hazy caramel body with a thin white head. Rich maltiness and nice yeastiness. Coriander and orange peel. Nicely textured lightly spiced palate. A nice drink.

On tap at the Wicked Hop in Milwaukee, claimed by waitress to be brewed in Port Washington specifically for the WH. Served with a slice or orange, tossed that. Aroma and flavor had a hint of bubble gum. Medium bodies. More of a fruity than sour character. Minimal head but foamy in the mouth. Finish was orangy, possibly from the slice. Eh.

On tap at Wicked Hop Milwaukee. Poured a hazy straw golden with a short cap of white head. Nose was of mild orange zest, darker spices (coriander perhaps), and biscuity malt... rather pleasant, but felt artificially-sweetened. Flavors found about the same stuff... sweet orange-soaked biscuity, light wheaty tartness, and coriander. Palate was a tad too sticky and dense to be super-refreshing, but it felt ok. Finish of citrus and spices lasted for a while. Not bad.

Transparent gold with a thin sheet of white for the head. Starchy aroma joins lemons, coriander and biscotti. Subtle lemon-vanilla flavor edge. Nothing is searing or acidic. Light but nut insubstantive. Coriander, biscuits and honey. Very smooth and easy going, almost like it’s from a cask. Smooth vanilla clove finish.

Lightly cloudy straw color with a wispy white head. Light malt and coriander nose with a touch more of orange citrus. Light malt and mild grass start. Hints of citrus on the way. Fairly heavy dry spice in the finish. A decent summer quaff, a touch unbalanced.

Festival tap: Clear yellow (it’s filtered) with a nose dominated by coriander. Body is light and refreshingly sweet with hints of lemon. Spicy finish is again dominated by, what seems like, mass amounts of coriander.
