(draft) Small creamy light tan head atop cola body. Aroma is moderately sweet caramel malty, some fruitiness. Minimal flavor, but what there is is malty, caramel and lightly sweet. Limited aftertaste with virtually no bitterness. Light/medium body.

Pours a transparent copper mahogany with a thin white head. Aroma is very subtle with a touch of sugary, earthy caramel and mild hops. Body starts full and lightly sweet, turning more grainy, thin and bitter toward the sticky, confused finish. A boring and uninspired beer that could either use some more malty sweetness or more of a crisp finish.

Slightly hazy dark copper color. Tan head that disipates quite quickly to a thin lid with a touch of lace. Smell of chocolate toffee. Somewhat fizzy feel. Malty, but not the dark roasted varieties. Butterscotch/diacetyl flavors overpower. Interesting sweet malt finish. A sweet brown?

Bottle: Deep amber hue with okay head and good lace. The aroma has notes of orange zest, piney and grassy hops, carmel and bready malts, light walnut and dusty yeast esters. The taste starts with a fine balance of citric twang and malty sweetness. Nutty and mildly bitter finish. The feel is smooth and easy, not much depth of palate (but this is truw of most brown ales). Overall, the citrus nature makes this brown ale a step above most of the genre, quaffable.

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Flanagan’s in Appleton, Wisconsin. Pours a clear reddish amber brew with a creamy thin white head that dissolves to a fine film and ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of multi-grain malt, some flowery hops, roasted nuts and some caramel. Taste is lightly carbonated, medium bodied with flavors of roasted nuts, caramel malt and some citrus. Finish is slightly watery and dry with a sweet caramel aftertaste.

Bottled. Poured clear iced tea brown with a short beige head. Aroma was airy and weak with mild chocolate notes and some grass.. other sweet malty notes, but nothing really did it for me. Flavor had semi-sweet chocolate and cola sweetness with mild grassy bitterness.. dry cola finish. Light-bodied and watery on the palate.. never felt good. Meh.

Medium brown color. Large foamy white head. Aroma is nutty, malty and sweet. A medium bodied brown ale. Malts are nutty and sweet. Hops are grapefruity. Nicely balanced. A touch hoppy for a brown ale, but it gets maltyier and less hoppy as it warmed. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter

Dark red color with a thin head. Oddly citrus filled nose. Citrus in a brown? Hmmm... Malty taste with a bitter finish.
