Smooth and balanced, easy drinking. Medium bodied, light nutty malt tastes, mildly crisp. Middle of the road suits this style just fine. The hops display some great subtlety, but the malt is light and so-so. My type of session beer...I’ll be back. GermanBrews76 (667), Eugene, Oregon, USA

I hope the brewery stays alive, as they are showing up more and more around southeastern Wisconsin. Even if it shows up just as a fad or for marketing I can still enjoy it for what it is. Once settled, the flavor was similar to other brown ales, like Newcastle. TheDean (785), MIlwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Reddish, brown amber in color (mostly red). Not much visible carbonation, but it’s there. Thin layer of white head. Not much lace. Initial mouthfeel is nice, but it doesn’t finish very well. Fruity with a hint of hops. Slightly tart. I like it better than Louie’s Demise, which I had just before. This somewhat more balanced with at least some hop profile. There is something in the aftertaste I like that I can’t identify. Finishes well.
