Certainly not decent-tasting, has a bit of caramel that runs into what tastes like cheap macrobrew adjuncts and skunkiness. Mildly nutty, but mostly harsh. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Jun 19, 2005 Funky malt sweetness in the aroma. Cloudy with no head AT ALL. Caramel and something medicinal...mild wet cardboard. Prolly skunked. Really lame overall heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 7, 2005 The body is a darker amber with a thin white head. The aroma is slightly piney with some citrus. The hop araom is strong enough to make it interesting. The taste is slightly grapefruit with some caramel in the background. Overall, this also has a slightly sour finish. Strange finish throws off the whole package. Braudog (3774), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 20, 2005 Orangish amber with a nice lava of bubbles for a head. Sweet aroma and a very sweet malt flavor for an ale ... little bitterness that I could discern, just a bit of tanginess in the finish. MaxPower (961), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 5, 2004 Deep clear reddish-copper color, decent small white head that doesn’t last, not much lacing either, light sweet roasty nutty-caramel aroma. Some roasted malty nutty flavors, medium body, soft and smooth mouthfeel, finishes clean and dry, not a bad amber ale. TheBeerCollector (548), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
