Amber color with a thin off white head. Caramel, wood, and light citrus in the aroma. Earthy malt flavors, more in an unclean than in maris otter. Quite average.

A sweet caramel malty aroma. A red golden color. A little tart in the flavor. A little pale in the mouthfeel. Flavor looses its appeal after awhile. Dry in the aftertaste. A nice attempt.

Had this for the first time at a local drinking establishment. It was so damn good, I had to have two. I wasn't familuar with this brewery until that time, but now I am a fan.

Sampled at Great Taste of the Midwest. Very little aroma if any. Very nice red, golden. Thin layer of white head. Smooth bubble, fine lace. Flavor is innocuous, however. If it is possible for an amber not to have any flavor at all, this is it.

Medium amber hue with good somewhat diminishing head and good lacing. Aroma hints of butterscotch, pine, toasted malts, herbs, grapefruit, and caramel. Taste starts fruity and malty. Crsip bitter hoppiness moderates taste. Acidic finish. Medium-bodied with a soft and buttery mouthfeel. A darn good amber with just enough hops and acidic nature to keep it interesting. Recommended.

Amber color. Bitter, salty hop nose. Really thin and watery. A little caramel malt to make it passable. More sweet as it warms.
