| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Aug 26, 2003 Sampled at Great Taste of the Midwest. Very little aroma if any. Very nice red, golden. Thin layer of white head. Smooth bubble, fine lace. Flavor is innocuous, however. If it is possible for an amber not to have any flavor at all, this is it. BBB63 (4238), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 24, 2003 Medium amber hue with good somewhat diminishing head and good lacing. Aroma hints of butterscotch, pine, toasted malts, herbs, grapefruit, and caramel. Taste starts fruity and malty. Crsip bitter hoppiness moderates taste. Acidic finish. Medium-bodied with a soft and buttery mouthfeel. A darn good amber with just enough hops and acidic nature to keep it interesting. Recommended. redlem (1155), Illinois, USA
