Found this one bottled at Binny’s Oktoberfest in St. Charles, Illinois. Actually spoke to the brewer of this beer, so that was a nice treat. Light golden pour with a lacy white head. Sweet, grassy nose which continued into the body as clover honey and butterscotch. Very clean finish. A bit understated, and a bit underrated in my opinion.

If you are looking for an extremely simple lager, not light, just a simple pale lager, this is a great one. This beer pours golden with a nice head and smells of a nice sweet grassy aroma...sort of like wheatgrass. This lager is soooo simple, however, has a unique sweet but balanced taste that makes you want MORE! I really, really enjoyed this beer, at Binny’s beer tasting, since it broke up the excitement of the ale-fest that was going on....In my opinion, a great lager which easily replaced the usual german plisner, yadayadayada. If you catch my drift

Crisp and sweet. Perfuming oily aroma. Pretty good lager. Good with pizza or pasta.

A very light drinking, palatable, beer. A very refreshing brew, that will taste really good on a hot day.

After doing some reserch found that this is contrract brew from Huber. Decent enough taste reminds me of old Old Style and Huber. Which is good and bad all in one. This would be good one to introduce to your friends as a everyday beer.

Sample from a bottle at Binny’s "Fall Festival of BEERS." Sweet nose, light, nearlt clear straw in color. Thin pour. Hints of honey in flavor. Way too mild for my tastes, but the brewer was forgiving of that.

Golden with a quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is grainy with sweet malt and corn notes. Flavor is more of the same. Reminds me of a European strong lager without oomph.

Pours a transparent bright pale golden with a thin covering of thin-lacing white head. Mostly dry, grainy and bitter aroma has some floral noble hoppy notes and lager character. Body starts clean and lightly sweet with some biting carbonation and a thinner, smooth, but dull finish. One of the better examples of the style that I’ve tried, but that doesn’t say much.
