Crisp golden colour with a fast dissipating white head and tons of small bubbles rising from the bottom. Smells of strong yeast, bread, metal and a bit of apples. Light-bodied; Strong apple up front then quickly masked by metal and alcohol. Aftertaste very clean and refreshing. Overall, a nice offering that shows more of a bit than a traditional cider. Better for fans of strong beer to sample this one! I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Total Wine in Manassas, Virginia and sampled it on 27-November-2003.

Bottle. Great cider, a good compromise between beer and most hard ciders. It does taste slightly hoppy, and is always refreshing. The mouthfeel is a little drier than I prefer, but otherwise, pretty good. A good light drink with a great kick.

Smelled less like apples and more like a strong fermented wine. The taste was so-so, not anything to grab my attention.

Very nice. Not too sweet, nice and crisp with a hearty apple flavor. Really tasted like apple cider fresh from the farm. This one has got it all.

This was really good even though I drank it after an IPA. It tasted like there were hops in it, but I know it was my palate readjusting. This was very sweet and sour, slightly carbonated and very good.

Fairly light aroma, nice, medium gold color and thin white head, good apple flavor (not as dry as some) and a nice mouthfeel.

Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly yeasty (dough), with a light note of apple. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Not bad for an American cider.

I have to try the Woodchuck to see if Others are right. This is a decent cider color with little to no head and what was there dissappeared fast.Nice apple aroma that included that muffin smell as well. The flavor was quite good, very sweet apple taste, with very decent carbonation the taste wasn't as sour as others but pretty good mostly sweet with a some what dry apple finish.man i have to start drinking more of these this summer.it beats beer in some ways and is very thirst quenching, much more then beer that can leave that heavy feeling some times.
