Aroma was refreshing, apple beer. Initial taste impression was "hmm, wine cooler." It got better and better though and by the end I was ready for another. Nice apple flavor with a slightly bitter finish and a pleasant palate. Very refreshing. These are coming to the lake this summer. crazyvin (1254), New York, USA

Aroma was that of apples hmm, taste was a delicate apple flavor, some carbonation. not much body too it either. It could have been bitter, but i guess they used sweet apples. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 21, 2004 Pours a light golden color, typical cider. Aroma is sweet and tart, with a muskiness I have attributed to golden apples. Sort of a mild apple smell rather than the crisp of the green or red apples. Taste is very similar to the aroma, with the sweet, slightly cloying flavor of American ciders. Overall, a very nice session cider. I had all six in one sitting! thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 29, 2003 This bottled brew poured a fully diminished head of small to large sized white almost transparent bubbles that left behind a transparent yellow almost uncarbonated body and a small lace. The aroma is a very nice apple and the mouthfeel is tingly thick smooth with a mild apple cider bite in the finish. The flavor is sweet with apple with a slight acidity. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 6, 2003 Head is small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly yeasty (cobwebs, dough), with a note of apple. Flavor is heavily sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. One of the better mainstream American ciders...nice assertive natural apple aroma. Too sweet, as usual, but not artificially so. Basically, apple soda. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 2, 2003 The last in the cider line that this little town has to offer.Nice color, strong apple aroma,no head and what was there faded pretty damn fast. The flavor was a little softer then the other ciders i've had,not nearly as hard a bite as before yet the flavor is still some what the same apple with a muffin like taste some what over ripe apple, that gives a sweet/sour feel to it with the sour coming in at the tail end of the finish.still a fine brew and on a hot day might take the place of some of the hot day brews i have on my mind. ciderguy (98), Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 5, 2002 As far ciders made from golden delicious apples, I think this is the best. There is a distinct differnece in taste between ciders made from golden delicious and traditional macintosh apples. This is a good one worth trying. Slight aftertaste that briefly follows you around. greystreet80 (191), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
