Bottle. Pours yellow gold with a white head. Aroma of sweet malts, grain, corn. Flavor is weak, watered down, corn, grain. Thin bodied, yet drinkable.

Sturgis 1996 edition. Brewed by Joseph Huber Brewing Co. Given to me by a friend who attended the rally that year, and it was stored away and forgotten. A beer to “ring out the old” in celebration of the New Year. Poured with a fizzy white head that soon dropped to a ring. Cloudy golden with a bit of sediment but no floaties. Aroma of pale malt and yeast. Flavor is pale malt with a sharp lager crispness, almost spicy. Medium body for a lager. Certainly not a great beer, but then again it could have turned out a lot worse after ten years. Its doubtful this beer was any better when it was in its prime. An intereasting detour off the beaten path for a Harley rider.

Pours a medium golden yellow color. Aromas of metal, corn, and some minor hop action. Flavor is kind of metallic, with cheerios and hops.

Just plain yuck,Decent golden color, medium sized white head that faded slowly leaving a little behind. The aroma was nothing great with a slight malt side and some faint hops. Now the taste.Again nothing special, light malt some mild sweetness and some faint hops coming on towards the end with a slight bitterness in the finish, but very faint at best. It’s worth a try for the novelty of the brew but little more then that.

Dark straw color with a full off white head. Pale malt and grain aromas and flavors. Not much more than a standard america lager. I see some of the other rating and can’t help but think they are likely Special brews made by the Joseph Huber Brewing Co. back in 1994 and a few other years.

Got this from a neighbor who has a Harley. Typical pale yellow swill with slight malt and corn aroma. Astringent finish with little flavor.

In the can at the 2004 Crescent Moon Vintage Beer Tasting. This did not survive the 80’s. It actually had chunks floating in the bottom. Pretty horrible stuff. It was criminal to serve us this type of beer that was this old.
