Oct 4, 2009 0,5 l bottle as a gift from Poland. Golden body with a nice foamy white head. Bready malt, sourish yeast and grassy hop in the nose. Clean mouthfeel with bottom character-sourish yeast, some bready malt and a bit of caramel, light hop in the finish. Sourish aftertaste. Drinkable, well hidden alcohol, but not a memorable one.

Sep 28, 2009 500 ml bottle, listed as Highlander Harnas. Bought at Tres Bon Cuisine in Boise. Pours a dark golden color with a medium white head. The aroma is grains, some honey and a little funky note. A bready easy flavor, some alcohol bite, clean and easy to drink. Light fruit. Slightly skunked. Pretty nice for what it is.

Sep 13, 2009 500 ml can. Pours clear yellow pilsner color with a frothy white head that dissapears leavin a thin foam layer. Nose is perfume, flower, faintly citrus, while the flavor is sour, faintly salty with an average lasting light bitter and alcoholic finish. Light to medium body with a dry watery texture. Softly carbonated. Unimpressed!

Sep 11, 2009 Bottled @ 5.5%. I picked this up at BevMo, La Mesa. Medium golden in color upon pouring. Grainy aroam with a bit of maltiness. Malty flavors. Fairly grainy as well. Decent little thirst quencher. I wouldn’t neccesarily call this a strong lager, just a lager. Crisp and clean. I find alot of ESLs to be quite sweet. This one is not. I don’t really think it’s great, but then I can’t really say anything bad about this brew.
