Bottle. Pours a straw yellow with a small white head. Tart cereal aroma with a mix of apple and paint thinner. Sweetish, dryish bread flavour with a slight candy-like note. Notes of cardboard as it warms. Finish is dry with bread and hops. 26-09-09.

500 ml can. Pours clear yellow pilsner color with a frothy white head that dissapears leavin a thin foam layer. Nose is perfume, flower, faintly citrus, while the flavor is sour, faintly salty with an average lasting light bitter and alcoholic finish. Light to medium body with a dry watery texture. Softly carbonated. Unimpressed!

Bottled @ 5.5%. I picked this up at BevMo, La Mesa. Medium golden in color upon pouring. Grainy aroam with a bit of maltiness. Malty flavors. Fairly grainy as well. Decent little thirst quencher. I wouldn’t neccesarily call this a strong lager, just a lager. Crisp and clean. I find alot of ESLs to be quite sweet. This one is not. I don’t really think it’s great, but then I can’t really say anything bad about this brew.

Sampled in a 500ml. A really crisp drink. Not sure how this is a strong lager but it is refreshing, crisp and a nice drink. Pours with a good amount of head. Colored yellow. NIce brew

Bottle from BevMo Mission Valley. Pours a crystal clear medium golden color with a bubbly white head, champagne like carbonation. nose of wheat, dirty citrus, cereal grain. Flavor held some grainy qualities as well as faint citrus and a light hop bitterness in the finish, quite refreshing.

Bottled. Clear golden, minimal head. Sweaty peach aroma. Sweetish and fruity. Lifeless but mostly harmless. No bitterness. Typical industrial Carleberg swill.

(bottle - 500 ml) Golden pour with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet malts mixed with some dry hops. Some earthy notes. Flavor is sweet at the start and gives way to a lightly bitter hop middle and a very dry and grainy finish. Aftertaste is a little crisp with some lingering bitterness.

Bottle; poured a dark, rich gold color with a normal, white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grain with a bit of earthy hops. Very unobtrusive flavor; not much going on, but not much that is overtly wrong with it. Sweet malt with some grain. Earthy finish. Better than expected.
