This is quite obviously not a brown ale, is a deep peachy gold. Nose is fruity with peaches and apricots. Taste is similar, big yeasty quality, some citrus at the end. Rather good, but certainly not a dubbel. Pastor (509), Maine, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 8, 2004 22oz. Bomber: This one pours a golden color that is tinged with a hint of orange. A light head that disappates rather quickly. The aroma is yeasty. I also get some fruitiness to it: hints of raisin and some pepper also. The taste is somewhat dry. There are hints of clove and caramel. The best way to describe it seems to be a slightly light version of a dubbel/trippel hybrid. It suprisingly works well. I could find myself drinking quite a few of these! Volgon (2489), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2004 Batch date 9/8/03 drank 3/8/04. Hazy light orange color with a small bubbled large white head. Banana and light fruits and alcohol in the aroma, thin bodied with a sweet ending and some bready notes. Certainly not a dubbel. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 25, 2004 The beer after extravasates the 22 ounce brown bottle set in the glass an opalescent and slightly hazy orange, the head is moderate in size, creamy in texture and a toothsome light tan. The nose is sweetly malt, fresh crisp and clean with a slight hint of yeast, a nice sniffable beer, start is sweet and pleasingly malted, the top is middling in its feel to the palate. The finish is sternly acidic, the hop pleasing and relatively mild, quite dry aftertaste that lingers long on the palate. CaptainCougar (5493), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 18, 2004 Pours a cloudy copper with a thin off-white head. Sweet bready and Belgian malt aroma. Body is lightly caramely and bready sweet with good yeast character and a touch of candi sugar. Finishes dry and semi-bitter. Could use a little more balance and complexity, but otherwise a nice dubbel. dirtymike (2018), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 11, 2004 Amber in color with a large white head. Huge banana aroma,sweet and fruity. Flavor is of more banana,sweet malt,fruit and spice. Finishes thin and lacking for the style. Very good Belgian ale,but more of a session ale, doesn't live up to it's label. TimE (1302), Tokyo, Japan
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 12, 2004 I found to be a light, milk chocolately brew, with smooth hints of figs and a touch of earthiness, all complemented by a rounded, yet dry finish. Sampled on draft at Redbones in Boston. Odd I am seem to be the only one who actually found this to be a dubble.
