| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 15, 2004 On tap: Pours a clear darkish copper color with a puffy and well-lacing white head. Mild caramel and ale yeast aroma. Starts lightly sugary sweet with some corn flavor and a touch of toasted crystal malt. Finishes dry and bitter with some off-flavors. Pretty close to style, but could use some more balance. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 14, 2004 22 oz bottle. Clear light maple color, giganto billowy head dies slowly. Simple but effective sweet caramel nose. Very sweet and malty, caramel and brown sugar dominating, some nice herbal qualities (rosemary and a bit of pepper); very very smooth, perhaps too much so. Pleasant, but not a patch on McNeills or Long Trail. motelpogo (4395), Plzen, Czech Republic

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 15, 2004 Thick creamy head, medium carbonated, light brown amber looking beer .Aroma was quiet hoppy for an alt, fresh, clear nose. Light spicy finish. Flavour: malt based, light woody feel with spiced touch. Some late bitter touch. Not really an alt as I would imagine but decent ale it is. beerguy101 (3946), Newark, California, USA
