The aroma is very malty combined with light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of wood and cararamel, leading to a slightly hoppy end. A great interpretation of a Maibock. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Straight bready caramel nose, leafy and minty hop backing are more abvious than I’d anticipated. Soft mild floral, nutty and fruity palate. Good flavor integration, the higher than average hops are backed by a rather juicy sweet maltiness that is saved by a soft yet efficient small-bubbled carbonation. Not bad for Harpoon. Smells nutty with some brown sugar notes shining through. Taste is on the sweet end of the spectrum with some minor rosey notes and a semi-bitter finish. This one is definitely more of an amber ale or APA than a bock beer. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
