Commercial Description:
Framboise, French for "raspberry", is a Belgian-style fruit lambic. Made with more than 4,600 pounds of raspberries, 50% wheat at a gravity of 14°p it has all the makings of a great summer time beer. Highly carbonated, it produces a wonderfully pink, lacey head. The burgundy color foretells of intense raspberry aromas. A nice, sweet start finishing with a tart and acidic finish that is light and refreshing.
Released again in late 2006 in 12oz bottles and draught.

Reddish color with a light pinkish head, it seems to be very tart and raspberry flavor sof course. Seems not quite as much Belgian character as I would have hoped for. I would still probbaly buy Lindeman’s over this one.

Raspberrys were not that sour, and overall I found the flavor to be a lot sweeter than regular beers but more sour than a lambic. However, extremely smooth and drinkable plus the limited availbilty/ 100 barrell thing really helps the taste by making you think its really rare and unique.

Aromas of sour raspberry. Flavor of tart raspberrys hits you then fades into a saccharine sweetness. Finishes slightly bitter.

12 oz bottle for the Enore edition, I guess the first time was not bad enough. i mean its a pretty beer, dark ruby colored with a pink head. Smell is all raspberry, some tarty raspberry. Kind of perfumey as well though. Taste is a it nasty though. Taste like vegetables with a cickening raspberry flavor to cover it up. It does semm acidic at the end or more like a weird sharp flavor. When will I stop doing this to myself. I tell you one thing though, I will not buy the Bohemian Pilsner, i have had enough with this series.
