However, extremely smooth and drinkable plus the limited availbilty/ 100 barrell thing really helps the taste by making you think its really rare and unique. asheft (1412), Marburg, Germany

Very hazy brownish-orangish red with a white fizz that receds to wisps. RASPBERRY aroma and a little sweet malt. Surprisingly dry taste with tingly tartness that is full of raspberry but without the sweetness of some other raspberry beers. There is some evidence of malt in there and a not overdone tartness that clears to a watery finish. A bit subdued, actually. Light body with medium carbonation and a clean finish. jimhilt (1684), Bow, New Hampshire, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 16, 2006 Hazy reddish-amber hue, with a frothy pale pinkyish head, with a predominant raspberry purée nose, with a hint of caramelized malt, and a note of tart fruitiness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a smooth raspberry fruity flavor at first, but with a tart acidic raspberry fruitiness character, with a faint floral hops, leading towards a sour juicy fruity raspberry finish. boto (1336), Granby, Connecticut, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 18, 2006 22oz. bomber: This one pours a cloudy reddish color with brown tints. There was a fairly good sized pink head on it when it was poured, but it was gone very quickly. The nose is definitely raspberry, but a little weaker than I would have expected or liked. The flavor is that of a tart raspberry lambic, but a little weak of flavor and body. A decent enough attempt, but I don’t think that I’ll be buying any more.
