I hate Harpoon for making these beers. I know there is a huge chance I wont like them (I only liked the alt I think) but I cant stop myself from buying them to at least try it. Poured a moslty clear (should be hazy shouldnt it?) deep gold with a thin diminishing head. Aroma is herbal and spicy hops, along with a light muted-out bready old pils mlat which may be slightly oxidized. Flavor is herbal and mostly bland with light malts, and more light oxidation. Watered down mouthfeel with no real body or malt presence. Meh.

My first of the style. Had lots of earthy aromas and flavors, and that lager style aroma as well. flavor is bitter, earthy, yet curiously IPA-like hops. interesting...

A dark orange appearance with a white head. A faint lemon aroma with a slightly bread presence up in your nose. The flavor is slight bitter with a dry dustiness. Some spiced fruit and lemons can be found. Good beer for summer.

Amber, with an off-white head. Aromas are malt and yeast. Flavors are malt, hops, yeast, fruit, ending a little bitter. Rather nice.

22 oz bottle, via jjpm74. Pours a clear copper colored body with a foamy two finger off-white head, almost meringue like in appearance. Light sediment noted in bottle. Rather uninspiring nose, some light toasted malt with a touch of cookie, caramel, and yeast. Flavor is of more toasted malt and light yeastiness with a fairly bitter dry finish. Mouthfeel is fairly light bodied with moderate but soft and fine carbonation. Overall, not a bad beer. Not a style I know too much about, but it was an easy drinker and better than many of Harpoon’s offerings.

22 oz bottle. Pours orange/copper and a bit hazy. Full malty lager aroma with a bit for floral yeastiness. Light biscuit malts with spicy-earthy hop presence. Dryish medium body. Not much to say about this. It was good, simple and clean. I liked it overall.
