| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 22, 2006 Orangish-amber pour, light bodied with a smooth biscuit flavor finishing with a sharp bitter bite. The bitter lingers For-ev-er. Had this one at Immy’s Tasting and enjoyed it. MaBeer1972 (421), Leominster, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 7, 2006 Orange color. Floral aroma. Body on the light side. Very dry finish kills it though. Leave it to the Americans to hop the shit out of everything! Rastacouere (5565), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 26, 2006 Pale orange body is fully hazy and shows a lasting off-white ring. The nose is hoppy, highly floral, mineral and salty. Rather musty yeastiness. In mouth, an initial blast of bubbles is not the most authentic feature, but it stays highly attractive through strong earthy citrus flavours with ripe orange and dryish floral hops. Pleasantly balanced, flavourful lager with a bite. shadey (1501), Rochester, New York, USA

Aroma is crispy and interesting. A very interesting flavor of sweet malt and dry hops. Grassy, maybe a little soapy. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2006 Pungent citrus, herbal hop forward aroma. Hazy amber coloured body is topped by a low but lasting off white head that laces well. Huge thick malt character with strong earthy hop flavour that balances nicely and assertive bitterness. Airy carbonation to the medium light body. Bottle enjoyed with MartinT, muzzlehatch and Rastacouere. beastiefan2k (1607), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 29, 2006 Well I have never had this style of beer but this pretty much tasted like a hoppy pale ale. So i am guessing they kind of messed up. Orange copper colored, translucent but cannot see through it. Smell is hoppy. Body is thin. Taste has a bit of biterness. BBB63 (4274), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 29, 2006 Enjoyed with Tom, his dad, Chuck the brewmaster at Back Road: What a lovely appearance for it displayed a great creamy head despite been served in a plastic cup, also left outstanding lace. The aroma has notes of apple, grainy and earthy, a bit roasted and hint of caramel, and Noble hop esters.
The flavor profile is that of a nice grassy hop character balanced by smooth bready and pale malt base. Light fruit undertone before ending with a nutty and woody aftertaste. The feel is smooth and oh so drinkable, a great session bier. Bravo Harpoon, this really hit the spot, subdued yet never boring. ( Chuck though it be very Alt like and wondered where it would fit in BJCP judging). Thanks Kevin for the bottle.
