Aroma is quite malty with some iced tea notes. Flavor again has the iced tea notes with sweet, sugary malt. Hardly any hop notes really. Just very sweet, malty, and bland.

Poured from a 22oz. bottle into a stemmed glass.
The color is a clear gold with a tint of maroon in it, clear, with about three fingers of white foamy head. Some really nice lacing on the glass.
The smell is deep floral hops. The flavors are pretty earthy and mellow but quite present. Some hint of rye malt in the background.
The taste is very hoppy with some nice floral feel and a mix of slight fruity flavors. There are little hints of lemon that is a bit sweet but is balanced by the bitter hop flavor.
This beer has a nice mellow feel that is nice to have from a pretty hoppy beer. The bitterness is set back and does not coat your tongue with a layer of bitterness.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 27, 2009 Light caramalt sweetness on the aroma. Light gold-orange color. Definately signature Harpoon flavor; light pale ale body with a light but fresh (obviously) hop presence. A bit bready.

Lacey, derived from grapefruit colour. Very mildly hop flavour. Mouthfeel average, understated carbonation. A nice, mild drinkable bitterness. Enjoyable and something I could drink frequently. zathrus13 (1314), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 13, 2009 Bottle. Pours orange, with a white head. Aroma is hops and caramel. Flavor is the same, but not very hoppy., and not particularly wet hop, either. Not a bad beer, but not as expected or advertised. jimhilt (1691), Bow, New Hampshire, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 11, 2009 Pours a two-finger white head that fades slowly to a thin layer leaving a good lace. Crystal clear light amber color. Slight malty nose. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Flavor has some sweetness almost caramel. Slight hoppy finish. With Wet Hop on the label I was expecting a ton of hops - not true. 22oz bottle $5.49 from Capitol Convenience Concord, NH.
The series #28:
Pours a three-finger pillowy white head that fades slowly to a thin layer leaving a good lace. Crystal clear amber color. Slight malty nose. Light-medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Flavor has some sweetness almost caramel, hops are clearly here even with only 38 IBUs. Slight hoppy finish. Not much different from the #20 except its $1 more. 22oz bottle $6.49 from Barb’s Beer Emporium Concord, NH. JorisPPattyn (5192), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 2, 2009 Foxy-amber with orange sides under yellow-orange, good & dense head, leaving lace. Very fresh hops nose with caramel & cookies; hopbales. Mild-bitter flavour, with hints at cookies sweetness, but ending on slightly flowery impression. Finishes a bit empty. Slightly tart, dry, effectively hopoil character. Very special, interesting beer; Ought to be drunk much fresher - straight from the barrel, but I’m very happy already, Uncle J.!
