So, this beer has nearly no bubbles at all, so it doesn’t really look that inviting - slightly cloudy, dark, coppery in color. A malty aroma, with hints of spices I’m no so fond of the banana-essences I find in the flavor, either. It is malty, but it lacks the wheat qualtiy. Not sweet at all, and a very thin finish.

Color is clear light red/amber and there is very little head. Aroma is toffee, cherry, and alcohol spice. Taste is rich creamy toffee with roast malt. Balance is nice between the yeast and roasty malt. Finish is smooth and has a slightly lingering roast taste.

Bottle shared with the barrios, scottyp, curly. Pours a clear dark chestnut with thin ring of offwhite head. Nose is pleasant plum, vanilla, and a hint of spicy clove and alcohol. Flavor is massive banana, dark wheat, and vanilla. Finally not dissappointed by one of these barrel series.

Light brown pour with small head. Nose of sweet fruits, banana clove and caramel malt. Flavor is big clove, banana, and caramel. Some fig and plums in there as well. A bit sweet for my taste, but not bad.

Pours a amber brown color with small white. Nose is extremely sweet and fruity, caramel in the back ground. Initial taste is banana, clove, dark fruits, caramel. Flavor doesn’t blend well together. Mid palate to finish is continuing sweet. Average palate duration. Medium body.
