Dark pour...no aroma at all. Kind of a subdued dark ale. Mild smokey notes. Not a horrible beer...kinda bland. Pretty much just there.

Bottle shared by doulos31/goodgrief’s pop. The pour was copper in color with a lighter colored head. The aroma was lightly roasted dark malts, caramel, smoke, some grainy wood type notes. The flavor was off for a scottish ale, caramel, brown sugar, dark roasty elements, chocolate, earthy notes, off flavors, oxidized? Mouthfeel was light, somewhat astringent. Not a pleaser. Oh well.

Rich reddish amber color with a frothy beige head. Aroma of molasses, oat, toffee, and apple. Taste is pretty much similar with nothing sticking out but also nothing majorly flawed. Medium thin body, smooth carbonation.

Pours a dark brown with off-white head. Aroma of roasted caramel malt, hops, grain, slight metallic. Similar taste. Very thin. Dull beer

Pours a lasting ring of beige head with a copper body. Floral, roasted, sweet aroma. Flavors of roasted malt, some soy sauce, brown sugar. Some iodine on the finish, little dry.

Bottle shared with the barrios, scottyp, curly. Clear brown pour with fair tan head and reddish highlights. Nose is a little dog foodie. Flavor is kinda bland, a little cardboardy, with very malty backbone. Watery thin. Meh.

This is quite the boring beer. Brown pour. Caramel malt nose and flavor. A wet woody flavor as well...not that great. Cardboardy too.

22oz bottle–pours a retaining, foamy, rich tan head that settles as a thin head and brown color with orange tint. Aroma is sweet medium malt-caramel, peat/earthy, medium fruit. Taste is sweet medium malt-caramel/toffee, peat/earthy hops bite, medium/dark fruit. OK carbonation. Second pint-chocolate and slight pine. Some dusty/granular mouth feel.
