Sep 24, 2009 Bottle shared with the barrios, scottyp, curly. Pours a clear dark golden amber with no real head. Nose is sweet, corn, honey, vanilla. Flavor has a metallic hop, grainy bitterness, and honey. Medium full body. Just like a ESL, what is the difference between these styles anyways?

Sep 24, 2009 Pours a clear orange/golden with off white head. Aroma is metallic with hints of bread, corn, malts. Similar taste, pretty malty with some bread and gross hops in the finish. Pretty thin, little carbonation.

Sep 20, 2009 22oz bottle–pours a white head and gold color. Aorma is sweet medium malt, herbal/perfumy/musty hops. Tast is spice/herbal hops up front, then sweet medium malt. Slight booziness for the first half pint.

Sep 14, 2009 [22 oz. bottle from Bootleggers] Pours clear light goldish amber with a few fingers of off-white head in my willibecher. Aroma of light caramel, perhaps honey and bread and very light vanilla. Smells a little metallic after head recedes a bit. Mouthfeel fairly smooth, medium-heft, a touch pebbly. Flavor is fairly sweetish and malty, notes of light caramel, bread and vanilla, perhaps honey. Some pine-iness kind of jabs in towards the finish. A bit metallic-sourish perhaps. Can tell there’s alot of malt here because of a relatively thick palate yet the flavor is a bit thin. Another 100 bbl that kind of hints at elements of a style but doesn’t really put it all together. Fairly decent and drinkable just as a beer though.

Aug 20, 2009 Poured a light copper color with a nice white head that disappeared a little too fast. Left a nice edge lacing. Aroma was malty. Taste was malty with a hint of hops. Nice mouthfeel. Bitterness on the backside was nice, not over powering. A nice warm weather beer!

Aug 18, 2009 Beautiful golden orange pour with a thin white head. Aroma was grassy hops, sweet malt, bread, yeast. Sort of a weird amalgamation. Flavor was surprisingly refreshing, sweet, but not cloying, grassy and crisp but not dry. Nicely balanced beer.

Aug 17, 2009 Aroma of grassy hops and bread. Flavor is more of the same - grassy hops, very doughy, some malt sweetness. Not as clean as I expected, but very smooth. Nothing to get excited about.

Aug 17, 2009 Bottle thanks to my Secret Santa. Pours a clear gold, with a small white head. Aroma is sweet with bread/dough, corn and hay, grassy with a bit of citrus zest. Taste is bready and grainy with a bit of cardboard (not really oxidation though), grassy and sweet. Dry and thin. Not much going on here.
