There’s not much to this one. Let’s call it a very lightly flavored amber ale, mildly caramely and malty, a bit sweet in a sugary way, minimally bitter. Geez, the flavor is just so... so... so... flavorless. Not much body, it’s pretty watery. The nose is lightly malty and sweet, with no hops aroma. Light amber in color, fully clear in appearance. Off-white head pours an average size and recedes to a sheen within minutes. Despite that, there’s a fair amount of patchy lacing on the glass. You know, I think they should rename this Harpoon Light. Wait, they already have a Harpoon Light. Yikes, I can’t imagine what that "tastes" like if this isn’t their Light beer. Don’t blame Shane for sending this to me, I *asked* him to send it. brownaler (379), Topsail Beach, North Carolina, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 29, 2004 Has a good front taste with berry and raisin flavors, but the finish is very weak. Fix that and this would be a very good amber ale. UNCCTF (465), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 28, 2004 Poured out of the bottle a glowing transparent copper with a thin white head. Floral hops stand out in the aroma, a bit sweet and fruity. Taste starts with a fruity malt up front, light sweetness, and a nice clean hop finish. The thing that really bothered me about this brew was the big metallic finish on it. ambroze (21), Old Hickory, Tennessee, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 20, 2004 favored by my mates despite aggresive carbonation. Prefer a milder more understated pale, but could go with meat. On sweet side and thin, and some floral hops, and bitterness in finish. Clean Hawksfan17 (717), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 14, 2004 Pours amber, smells earthy and fruity as well. I kind of got a dried apple scent off of it and some cotton candy too. Has a simple woody, bitter taste to it. Not much else really, but a nice ale. bmanLS (114), Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 13, 2004 Not bad, not excellent. Clear amber pour small head, thin body, yeasty aroma and light carbonation. Smooth going down with a hoppy bite at the end. This is an enjoyable ale.
