The color is good, and isn't too headstrong (as a good ale should be, perhaps), but there's something missing here. There's a continuity to this beer that you wished it had, that connection between flavor and nose spice and depth and weight, as the milky way is to the strung out night sky. That's absent here. Completely. Otherwise, there are elements of a good beer, but its just blechingly ick to the tounge, even if just drinking for its alcoholic value (not much). sfontain (506), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Apr 9, 2004 Pale amber color with a fairly sizeable white, bubbly head. Definite fruitiness in the aroma. Sweet flavor; miniscule caramel flavor once it warms a bit. Barely any hops. Feels nice and full. wunderbier (1267), Tampere, Finland
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 8, 2004 12 oz bottle, shaker. Cookie, caramel malt (M); flowery hops (L); medicinal aroma. Medium amber body, small, white head. Moderately sweet, lightly acidic flavor becomes a moderately bitter, moderately acidic finish. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. The bottom line is: yeah, I like my beers to taste like green apples >:\ BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 7, 2004 Pale amber color with a large off-white lacing. The aroma is lightly hoppy with spices & toffee. Flavor is also very malty with a touch of hops. The malt profile is very good and full flavored AND bodied. Suttree (2740), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 21, 2004 A copper color with a fair head. Aroma is malty with some fresh fruit detectable. Flavor is a little weak with a good malt presence. This is a very clean and refreshing beer just not alot more you can say really. I enjoyed it. Duke (117), New York, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 20, 2004 This was almost undrinkable. The aroma is musty and the flavor is somewhat watered down and weak. Very dissapointing.
